About The OPBA
The OPBA is a non-profit organization catering to fun loving boaters in the Tampa/Clearwater/St.Petersburg areas of Florida, including the outlining areas like Tampa, Sarasota, Ft. Myers, Orlando, etc…Our headquarters is based in St. Petersburg, FL near the famous Sunshine Skyway. Our club boasts over 100 members, and growing. Our members’ boats range from 28′ go-fasts to 38′ Donzi’s to 65′ yachts! Our club icon is still the well-known go-fast boats.
Annual Membership fees are as follows…along with the breakdown.
$100 for the 2008 Basic Membership
Membership card
Access to all OPBA fun runs and other OPBA boating events.
Receive e-mails and newsletters of club events.
Discounts on OPBA merchandise.
Access to OPBA website logins and chat rooms.
Access to participate in OPBA Poker Runs as a passenger at a discount.
$250 for the 2008 Premier Membership.
All of the Basic Membership…PLUS:
Access for your boat and up to two people to major OPBA poker runs.
Access to special ‘members-only’ website on OffshoreOnly.com
Credit (TBD) towards membership to FPC poker runs.
Receive quarterly ‘Powerboating in Paradise’ magazine subscriptions.
Recognized as an FPC and OPBA member on the FPC TV shows when attending these events.
Membership fees are on a 365 day basis, and will have an expiration date on the membership cards.
We are now collecting the fees for the boating events prior to the event in order to secure the funds in which to hold the events. There will be a deadline in which to register and pay for the events. Latecomers are welcome, but will be charged an additional late fee for that event. So make sure you register and pay on time to secure your spot for our many great events!

We are always looking for sponsorships and promote advertising in the organization as well as outside the club and it’s interests. Your business/organization will reach hundreds of boaters in the area, and with a corporate sponsorship and/or title advertiser, you could reach thousands of members through our website and internet marketing systems.
